Description
Cheval Biotin contains the biotin needed to support the gowth of hooves and coat.
Biotin, also known as B7 or vitamin H, helps to improve hoof and coat quality, facilitates shedding and is essential for a number of biochemical processes. In general, feed grains also contain biotin, but these are in organically bound form, which is less suitable for absorption and therefore supplementation is necessary.
It also contains calcium, which contributes to strong and healthy bones and teeth. It is also involved in various processes in the body related to the nervous system and muscle function.
Its importance in the last half of pregnancy, in foals and especially in young racehorses is well known. During these periods of life, calcium requirements are even higher than for the average adult horse.
